At Lakeside we believe that children learn by doing. Childhood is a special time for children to explore, create, find out about themselves and gain social competence in a nurturing atmosphere of respect, warmth, and love. We support children by helping them identify their emotions and verbalize their feelings as they develop their own sense of self-esteem.

We respect families as the primary and most important providers of nurturing and care and we believe in the partnership of parents and teachers in children’s education.
